About Me: The Journey from 140kg to 189cm Athletic Discipline
Welcome to meracareer.space. My name is Pravah Mishra, and if you’re here, you’re likely looking for a way to balance two of the hardest things in life: building a high-performance body and building a high-level career.
I didn’t start as the “fitness guy” you see on this site today. In fact, my story begins at a place that many would find impossible to escape. I am a seventeen-year-old student currently entering Class 12 in the Commerce stream, and just a short time ago, I weighed 140kg.
The 56kg Transformation: More Than Just a Number
At my heaviest, I wasn’t just physically heavy; I was mentally burdened. Being 189cm (6’2″) and weighing 140kg made me want to be invisible. I spent years trying to shrink myself, slouching my shoulders and avoiding the spotlight. But the turning point came when I realized that if I could master my own body, I could master my future.
Over the past year, I have lost a total of 56-57kg. This wasn’t achieved through “magic pills” or expensive trainers. It was achieved through the raw, unfiltered discipline of a student living in India, eating Ghar ka Khana, and making the most of every hour between my studies. Today, at 84kg, I am chasing a “Lean Hero” aesthetic—a physique defined by high definition, symmetry, and functional power.
A Student-Athlete Mindset
I am not just someone who lifts weights. I am an active athlete who believes that movement is the key to mental clarity. My athletic background is diverse:
- Football: I play as a Winger, where speed and stamina are everything.
- Basketball: I play as a Forward, utilizing my height to dominate the paint.
- Cricket: I am an All-rounder, requiring a mix of explosive power and tactical thinking.
- Volleyball: I serve as a Receiver, which has taught me the importance of focus and quick reflexes.
Balancing these sports while maintaining a 95+ target in Class 12 Commerce has taught me more about time management than any textbook ever could.
The “Mera Career” Vision: Aiming for Wall Street
The name of this website, Mera Career, isn’t an accident. While fitness is my passion, my professional sights are set on the high-stakes world of Investment Banking.
My roadmap is clear:
- Complete Class 12 with top honors.
- Relocate to Delhi to attend Delhi University (North Campus) by 2027.
- Pursue a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification while building a foundation in finance.
I believe that the discipline required to hit a “6-pack abs” goal is exactly the same discipline required to clear the CFA levels and work 80-hour weeks at a top-tier firm like JP Morgan.
Why I Created This Website
I created meracareer.space because I saw a gap. Most fitness advice is written for adults with full-time jobs and unlimited budgets for supplements. Most career advice is written by people who have forgotten what it’s like to be a seventeen-year-old student under pressure.
This site is for the Indian student who:
- Wants to lose weight but has to eat what is made at home (4 rotis, dal, and sabzi).
- Wants to look like a “Main Character” but also needs to score 95% in their boards.
- Dreams of a career in high finance but doesn’t know where to start.
My Commitment to You
On this blog, I share the “Human” side of success. You will find:
- The Aesthetic Blueprint: Exact workouts for a V-taper physique.
- Budget Student Nutrition: How to hit your protein goals on a student budget.
- Study & Growth Hacks: How I manage Class 12, sports, and this website simultaneously.
I am still on my journey. I am currently working toward a target weight of 80kg by the end of June 2026. I invite you to follow along, learn from my mistakes, and build your own version of an aesthetic life.
Thank you for being a part of my story. Let’s build something legendary.
